She was the daughter of the late Frank & Della Gibbons Bennett and the widow of Johnnie Hayes. She leaves 15 direct and two step living descendants. Funeral services will be Friday, October 3, 2014 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Mark Lile the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, 174 Milltown Church Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation is after 4pmCT, Thursday, October 2, 2014, at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Bradley Hayes, Kenton Hayes, Jordan Haynes, Dustin Bradshaw, and Darren Bradshaw. Ruth Hayes, 84, Gradyville, Adair Co., KY (1930-2014) She was born on Thursday, May 1, 1930 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Frank & Della Gibbons Bennett. She died Wednesday, October 1, 2014, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 84 years, five months. She was the widow of Johnie Hayes who preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 1993.
