She was a native of Stoddard County, MO, and a resident of Russell County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Ray Welborn and the late Myrtle Lemley Welborn. Her husband, Russell Boone, survives. She leaves 36 direct and two step living descendants. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jamestown Nazarene Church.

Patty D. Boone, 84, Riverside Drive, Jamestown, KY died Saturday, September 27, 2014, at 3:05pmCT, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, KY.

The Memorial Sevice will be at the Jamestown Church of the Nazarene, 132 S Main Street, Jamestown, KY, at 11amCT, Tuesday, September 30, 2014, with Bro. James McCormack, officiating. Visitation at 10amCT, at the church, Tuesday. The family chose care and cremation.

She was born Thursday, April 24, 1930, in Bloomfield, Stoddard County, MO. She was the daughter of the late Ray Welborn and the late Myrtle (Lemley) Welborn. She died September 27, 2014, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 84 years, five months, and three days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Jamestown Nazarene Church.

Her husband, Russell Boone, and the following survive:
  • One son: Kevin Williams

  • Two daughters: Karen Ann Glossop and Peggy Jo Beck

  • Two step-daughters: Linda Nelson and Kathi Hernandez

  • Two sisters: Carolyn Montgomery and Betty Carothers

  • Twenty grandchildren

  • Thirteen great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Bonnie Leitch and one step-son, Carl Boone.

The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
