Mary Catherine Tungate age 50 years of Milltown, KY formerly of Knifley, KY passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 at 1:43pmCT, at her home after a long illness.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, Septemer 21, 2014 at 9:30amCT/10:30amET, at Old Liberty Cemetery near Bradfordsville, KY with Bro. Wayne Keith the officiating clergy. The family will receive friends after 9amCT/10amET, at the cemetery.



Mary Tungate, Adair County, KY, (1964-2014)

She was born Sunday, July 12, 1964 in Breathitt County, KY. She was the the daughter of the late Charles Little and is survived by her mother Mary Sherrow Little of Versailles, KY. She died Friday, September 19, 2014, at the age of 50 years, two months, an seven days.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Tungate, on April 7, 2003.

Survivors include:
  • Three daughters: Jessica Montgomery and husband Jason of Milltown, KY; Julie Hicks and husband Robert of London, KY; Ashley Tungate and fiance' Roger Lupson of Lebanon, KY

  • Two sons: Anthony Blair of Milltown, KY abd Daniel Blair and wife: Ciji of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two brothers: Albert Little and Chuck Little of Versailles

  • Five sisters: Lou Neeley, Louise Holtzclaw, Joanne White, Gracie Campbell, Patricia Scott all of Versailles, KY

  • Ten grandchildren
Mrs. Tungate was a member the Solid Rock Full Gospel Church in Russell Springs, KY and a homemaker.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation toward funeral expenses and may be left at the funeral home.
