William (Bill) Gupton, Taylor Co., KY (1931-2014) He was a native of Taylor County, KY, and a resident of Taylor County at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Robert Lewis Gupton and Sarah Katherine “Sally” Sanders Gupton. His wife of over 61 years, Lena Gupton, survives. He leaves 16 direct living descendants. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY, with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET at the funeral home. William (Bill) Gupton, Taylor Co., KY (1931-2014) He was born June 15, 1931 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Robert Lewis Gupton and Sarah Katherine "Sally" Sanders Gupton. He died Monday, September 15, 2014, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 83 years, three months. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Lena Benningfield December 24, 1953. Besides his wife, Lena Gupton of Campbellsville, he is survived by the following:
