COLUMBIA, KY - The third-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's soccer team travels to Athens, Tennessee, to take on Tennessee Wesleyan College at 5pmCT on Saturday in its first road game of the season.



The Blue Raiders come off a 2-0 win against Bryan (Dayton, TN) on Sept. 6. It was the team's third-straight shutout of the season. Aleksi Pahkasalo and Adis Islamovic each scored their second goals of the season for the team. Pahkasalo also has a team-leading six points.

Goalkeeper Dalyan Hawes has been in goal for all three shutouts making five saves in his 270 minutes while earning back-to-back Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Lindsey Wilson (3-0-0) and Tennessee Wesleyan (1-1-1) meet for the second time in series history.

The Blue Raiders won the first meeting 3-0 on September 7, 2013. Keletso Mosime and Renan Serafim each scored in the win.

Nduka Kemjika has a team-leading six points and 10 shots for the Bulldogs. Morgan Marsh is second with four points and eight shots. Goalkeeper Bogachan Akyildiz has 14 saves. - TYLER SCOTT
