William D. (Bill) Vaughan, 78, Old Clear Springs Road, Jamestown, KY, died at 11:25amCT, Friday, August 15, 2014, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

The funeral service will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY at 11amCT, Monday, August 18, 2014, with Bro. Lindsey Cornett and Bro. Mark Polston officiating. Burial will be in Ridgecrest Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.



William D. (Bill) Vaughan, 78, Russell Co., KY (1936-2014)

He was born May 12, 1936, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late W.L. and Maggie (Woolridge) Vaughan. She died Friday, August 15, 2014, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY at the age of 78 years, three months, and three days.

He was a gas dealer.

He is survived by the following:
  • Three sons: Kenneth Vaughan, Burkesville, KY; Stephen Vaughan, Russell Springs, KY; and Derek Vaughan, Jamestown, KY

  • One sister: Lillian Weston, Jamestown, KY

  • Six grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents; by his wife Gloria Vaughan; and sister, Lucille Vaughan.

The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
