Ms. Nannie Jane Parker Compton, age 87 of Summersville, KY, passed away Monday at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services for Ms. Nannie Jane Parker Compton will be conducted 12pmCT Saturday, August 16, 2014, at the Mt. Union Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Cemetery in Green County. The wake and visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Friday, August 15, 2014, and after 7 amCT, Saturday at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY.



She is survived by the following:
  • Three sons and three daughters-in-law: Rev. Emmitt Lee and Connie Compton of Aurora, Illinois; and Larry Wayne and Carolyn Compton, Steven Edward and Mardena Compton all of Summersville, KY

  • Three daughters and three son-in-laws: Liddie Bell and Andrew Marshall of Portland, Oregon; Lena Louise and Jimmy Smith of Richmond, KY; Patricia Lynn and Rev. Andre' Calhoun of Summersville, KY

  • Twenty five grandchildren

  • Forty one great grandchildren

  • Seven great great grandchildren
