State Fire Marshal investigating fatal fire in Milltown Community

Update at 1:07pmCT. Deputy Coroner David Taylor has just called, and reports that the body of the deceased has been sent to the State Medical Examiner for positive identification through dental records. The coroner's office will release the name only after the information is certain. - LARRY SMITH.

The State Fire Marshal is investigating a fatal fire which occurred at 6pmCT on Milltown Road in Milltown, KY. The fire was reported at 6:11amCT. The Adair County Coroner is investigating and more details are expected shortly. David Taylor, Deputy Adair County Coroner, said his office will release no further information until the investigation is complete.

Donald Hare, Public Information Officer for the Columbia/Adair County Fire Department, said that he will have a news release on the fire shortly. - Larry Smith.
