Dorothy Hendricks Durham passed away Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Casey County Hospital. She was 81.

Funeral services are 10amCT/11amET, Monday, August 4, 2014 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Gale Durham and Bro. Steve Durham officiating. Ms. Dorothy will be laid to rest in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 3pm-8pmCT/4pm-9pmET, Sunday, August 3, 2014, at the funeral home.

Born Friday, October 14, 1932 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Flossie Richardson Hendricks. She died Friday, August 1, 2014, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 81 years, nine months, and 18 days.

She was a homemaker and member of the Willow Springs United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Dorothy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Durham, who passed away February 3, 1981; a daughter, Angela Durham; 3 brothers, William, Herbert and Ancil Hendricks; and 4 sisters, Celeste Schlensker, Beulah Edens, Ruth Cravens and Mary Godbey.

Survivors include three sons; Chuck Durham, Randall (and Brenda) Durham, and Stanley (and Jennifer) Durham all of Liberty, KY
  • Three daughters: Aunda (and Curtis) Cravens of Waynesburg, KY; Anna (and James) Pittman of Sunbright, Tennessee; and Regina (and Robert) Gilpin of Liberty, KY

  • Nineteen grandchildren

  • Twenty-one great-grandchildren

  • One great-great-grandchild

  • A sister: Macie Raney of Liberty, KY
