He was a member of a highly regarded East Adair County, KY, family, the son of the late John Tyler & Nettie Jewell Grider Atchley. His wife, Bessie Conover Atchley, survives. Visitation will be after 4:30pmCT, Friday, August 1, 2014 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Ronnie Bryant, Kendell Hoover, Wendell Hoover, Herbert Veatch, Terry Dudley, and Larry Dudley. O.B.
