Morris Dennis Price, Green County, KY (1923-2014)

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church. He was a retired School Bus Driver for the Green County Board of Education. He was a 60 year member of the William B. Allen Masonic Lodge in Summersville, KY. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during World War II. He was a native of Green County, KY, the son of the late Emmit Lee Price and Velma Agnes Clark Price.He was the widower of Ruth Bale Price. He leaves five direct living descendants.

Mr. Morris Dennis Price, departed this life Tuesday July 29, 2014 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service will be at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, at 6pmCT, Friday, August 1, 2014, with Rev. Robert Adkins officiating. Visitation will be after 12pm noon CTm Friday, August 1, 2014. Interment will be in Aetna Grove Cemetery in Green County, KY.



Pallbearers: Steve Jewell, Duane Bale, Larry Bale, Trent Williams, Jerry Arnett, and Dale Houk.

Honorary Pallbearers: Dr. Kenneth and Brenda DeSimone, Wydell and Rita Jones.

Mr. Morris Dennis Price was born Sundaym December 16, 1923, in Green County, KY. He was the son of the late Emmit Lee Price and Velma Agnes Clark Price. He died Tuesday, July 29, 2014, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of f ninety years, seven months and 13 days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church. He was a retired School Bus Driver for the Green County Board of Education. He was a 60 year member of the William B. Allen Masonic Lodge in Summersville, KY. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during World War II.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death October 27, 2005 by his wife, Ruth Bale Price. He was also preceded in death March 17, 2009 by one son, Terry Price.

He is survived by The following:
  • his caregiver: Connie Walker of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Jeremy Walker and Jennifer Fitzpatrick

  • Three great grandchildren: Reese Walker, Avery Walker and Rylee Price Fitzpatrick

  • Plus a host of other relatives and friends.
The family has requested donations be made to the Aetna Grove Cemetery Fund. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg. Send a condolence to the family of Mr. Morris Dennis Price
