In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Carter on March 06, 2013; three brothers, Roy Anderson, Johnny Anderson, and Willard Anderson; and four sisters, Clara Claywell, Lois Smith, Mary Claywell, and Faye Anderson.
