Andrew L. (Andy) Miller, Green Co., KY (1937-2014)

He was the patriarch of a highly regarded Summersville, KY family. He was a native of Holmes County, Ohio, and a resident of Green County, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Levi H. Miller and Fannie Kurtz Miller. His wife of 53 years, Amanda raber Miller, survives. He leaves 36 direct living descendants. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summersville Mennonite Church. He also owner and operator of Andy's Woodworking.

Mr. Andrew L. "Andy" Miller, 77 years of age, of Greensburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, July 14, 2014 at his home in Green County.

The funeral services for Mr. Andrew L. "Andy" Miller will be conducted at 10amCT, Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Summersville Mennonite Church, 345 Summersville Coakley Road, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Summersville Mennonite Church Cemetery. Pastor James Herghberger will be officiating along with Pastors David Peachy and Lee Stoltzfuz. Graveside committal will be officiated by Forest Mast. Visitation is requested 6pm-8pmCT, Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the church, 2pm-4pmCT and from 6pm-8pmCT, Wednesday July 16, 2014, at the church. There will be no formal visitation prior to funeral service on Thursday.



Pallbearers: Lyndon Eash, Jeremy Eash, Jared Eash, Brian Miller, Brendan Miller, Blaine Miller, Tristan Coblentz, and Adam Miller.

Andrew L. "Andy" Miller, Green County, KY

Mr. Andrew L. "Andy" Miller of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Levi H. Miller and Fannie Kurtz Miller, was born on August 14, 1937 in Millersburg, Holmes County, Ohio and departed this life on Monday, July 14, 2014 at his home in Green County. He was 76 years and 11 months of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summersville Mennonite Church. He was also owner and operator of Andy's Woodworking.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Amanda Raber Miller of Green County having united in marriage on January 19, 1961.

Other survivors include the following:
  • Two sons and daughters-in-law: Leroy and Esther of Malta, Ohio, and James and Judith Miller of West Jefferson, Ohio

  • Three daughters and sons-in-law: Leona and Lonnie Eash of Lexington, Indiana, Lorene and Don Coblentz of Freeport, Ohio, and Esther and Galen Lengacher of Summersville, Kentucky

  • Grandchildren: Brian, Brendan and (Eugenia), Blaine, Angela, Bradley, Lyndon and (Melody), Jeremy and (Carmen), Jared, Rosalyn, Andrea and (Joni), Derrick, Valerie, Dallas, Katrina, Julia, Tristan, Landon, Shawna, Trenton, LeAnna, Brittany, Adam, Vincent, JaLisa, Mitchell, Alisha, Darika, Angelika, Sarita

  • Great-grandchildren: Cheyanne, Jayden, Karlita

  • Brothers, sisters and their spouses: Melvin and Amanda Miller of Baltic, Ohio; Susie and Raymond Hochstetler of Frederickburg, Ohio; Amanda and Elmer Mast of Shreve, Ohio; Ben and Mary Lou Miller, Emma and Levi Raber, Ada and Raymond Yoder all of Millersburg, Ohio; Jonas and Ella Mast Miller of Berlin, Ohio; and Aden and Susan Miller of New Philadelphia, Ohio

  • And a host of other relatives and many friends
Mr. Miller was also preceded in death by a granddaughter: Amber Miller.
