Melody E. (Mitty) Simpson, 57, S Hwy 127, Jamestown, KY, died Sunday, July 6, 2014, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, KY.

The funeral services will be at 1pmCT, on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Leon Simpson officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Friday, July 11, 2014, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel. Burial will be in the Murray Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.

She was born September 19, 1956, in Noblesville, Hamilton County, IN, the daughter of Sharon (Melton) Glenn. She died Sunday, July 6, 2014, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 57 years, nine months, and 17 days.

She was a clerk.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her son: Matthew Simpson, Jamestown, KY

  • Her daughter: Kim Simpston, Jamestown, KY

  • Her sister: Priscilla Jessie, Noblesville, IN

  • Her eight brothers: Rick Cowan, TIm Cowan, John Needler, Kevin Needler, and Jeff Needler, all of Noblesville, IN; Greg Needler and Jason Glenn, both of Cicero, IN; and Robert Glenn, Indianapolis, IN

  • Five granddaughters: Ashley, Jessica, Brianna, Carly, and Gracie

  • And a host of nieces and nephews
The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
