Mrs. Linnie Pearl Manis Wells, Cumberland Co., KY (1926-2014) She was a member of Highland Chapel United Methodist Church and attended Dutch Creek Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a seamstress for Sutton Shirt Corporation and Bob Evans Manufacturing and a homemaker. She was a native of Fentress County, TN, and a resident of Cumberland County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the widow of Lowell Ray Wells. She leaves 22 direct living descendants. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10amCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Pitcock and Bro. Jimmy Bunch officiating. Burial will be in the Burkesville Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5pmCT on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 until the funeral hour on Thursday. Mrs. Linnie Pearl Manis Wells, Cumberland Co., KY (1926-2014) She was born in Fentress County, Tennessee on Monday, June 7, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Virgil and Eva Jane Choate Manis. She died Sunday, June 29, 2014, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 88 years, 22 days. She was a member of Highland Chapel United Methodist Church and attended Dutch Creek Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a seamstress for Sutton Shirt Corporation and Bob Evans Manufacturing and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Ray Wells, whom she married on Saturday, December 28, 1946; her son, Paul Douglas Wells; her brother, Austin "Woody" Manis and her grandson, Baby Wells.
