She was born in Adair County, KY, and was a resident at the time of her death. She was a member of a highly regarded South Adair family, the daughter of the late Ed & Sarah Ellen Gowen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hillary Burris, and later married Fred Fudge. Mrs. Fudge was a member of the Antioch United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Hillary Burris; brothers, Ruel Gowen and Wlmer Gowen and a sister Blanche Loy. She later married Fred Fudge of Breeding, KY who survives.
