Dawn Atkinson was born September 19, 1948 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late Walter and Genivee Miller Botticher. She departed this life Sunday, June 15, 2014 at her home in Greensburg, having attained the age of 65 years, 8 months and 26 days.

The family chose cremation. There will be no local services.



She is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters and one son: Geni Atkinson of Utah, Pamela Smith of Missouri and Phillip Knapp of Michigan

  • Two brothers: Dirk and Curt Botticher of West Virginia

  • Two sisters: Sandra Archer of Tennessee and Connie of Michigan

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Eighteen plus great grandchildren
  • Special grandchildren: Dakota Atkinson, Ariq Carpenter, Nalana Atkinson, Elizabeth Gargus, Troy Gargus, Nedra Gargus, Tegan Gargus

  • Special friends: Dottie, Brenda and Anita.

    Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangments.

    The family has requested that donations be made to Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, to help take care of the expenses.
