Firefighters find barn on Purdy-Sano Road engulfed in flames Blaze occurs early this morning, Wednesday, June 11, 2014 By Donald Hare, Public Affairs Officer Adair County Fire Department The Adair County Fre department responded to a barn fire owned by Dwight and Mary Burton at 465 Purdy-Sano Road, in Northeast Adair County, on Wednesday morning, June 11, at 3:52amCT. Upon arrival firefighters arrival found a barn totally engulfed in fire. There were 11 firemen on the scene for around two hours. Destroyed inside the barn was some several farm implements and trucks and several rolls of hay.
