JoAnn McMahan, Taylor Co., KY (1947-2014)

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Hogards Chapel United Methodist Church. She was retired from Fruit of the Loom after forty-seven years of service. She was a native of Green County, KY, and a resident of Taylor County, KY at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie Williams and Maglaine Houk Williams. Her husband of over 47 years, James L. McMahan, survives. She leaves 2 direct living descendants.

JoAnn McMahan, 66, of Campbellsville, KY died at12:26 A.M., Monday, June 2, 2014 in Campbellsville.

The funeral service will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Living Grace Church, 1 Living Grace Drive, Campbellsville, KY, by by Rev. Earl West, Dr. Terry Swan and Pastor Eric Gilbert. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, and after 9amCT, at Living Grace Church. Entombment will be at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY.



JoAnn McMahan, Taylor Co., KY (1947-2014)

JoAnn McMahan was the daughter of the late Lonnie Williams and Magline Houk Williams. She was born in Green County, Kentucky, October 9, 1947. She died Monday, June 2, 2014 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 66 years, 7 months, and 24 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Hogards Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was retired from Fruit of the Loom after forty-seven years of service.

She united in marriage to James L. McMahan November 5, 1966.

Besides her husband, James L. McMahan, she is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Bradley Lewis McMahan and wife, Amanda W. of Nashville, Tennessee; and Terry D. McMahan of Atlanta, Georgia

  • Three sisters: Adine Sullivan and Geneva Shipp of Campbellsville, KY; and Alene Estes of Greensburg, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
