Jerry Hoskins, 68, Liberty, KY (1945-2014)

He was an Insurance Agency Manager of Casey County Farm Bureau for 29.5 years, was in the U.S. Army Reserve, was a member and Deacon of First Christian Church, member of Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance State Board of Directors from 1971 till 1983, He was in the Angus Cattle Business, Tennessee Walking Horses as well as Thoroughbreds for years.

Jerry Hoskins, age 68, of Liberty, KY passed away on Thursday May 29, 2014 at the U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, KY.

Visitation was held 3pm-8pmCT/4pm-9pmCT, Sunday June 1, 2014 at First Christian Church. Funeral Services were held at 10amCT/11amET, Monday June 2, 2014 at First Christian Church, 323 Middleburg Street, Libery, KY. Burial is in the Glenwood Cemetery.


Jerry Hoskins, 68, Liberty, KY (1945-2014)

He was born in Liberty, Casey County, KY on June 20, 1945. He was the son of the late Elmer and Rudell Allen Hoskins. He died Thursday, May 29, 2014, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 68 years, 11 months, and 9 days.

Survivors include his spouse, Beverly Galloway Hoskins, and the following:
  • Two sons: Todd and (Tracie) Hoskins of Liberty, KY; and Clay Hoskins of Liberty, KY

  • One daughter: Rachyl and (Darin) Cundiff of Liberty, KY

  • Eight grandchildren: Dakota, Riley, Linnie Brooke, Lane and Laci Hoskins and Karis, Karmen and Karter Cundiff

  • Two brothers: Elwood and (Susan) Hoskins of Liberty, KY; and Garland and (Dale) Hoskins of Liberty, KY

  • One sister: Hilda Masden of Mt. Washington, KY

Preceding him in death besides his parents was one son: Joseph Bryan Hoskins.
