Taylor County Coroner releases name of drowning victim

Nineteen year old Josa A. Zambrano of Lebanon, KY, died of an accidental drowning today, Taylor County Coroner Terry Dabney has ruled.

The drowning occurred during a baptism/picnic at Green River Lake State Park in the Lone Valley Community of Taylor County, KY.



The drowning did not happen during the baptismal service. Zambrano was last seen swimming for a flotation device which had drifted out into the lake. He went under and did not resurface. He drowned in 20 ft of water, approximately 50 feet from the shore.

His body was recovered by the Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS, backed up by the Green County EMS. Funeral arrangements are unknown at this time. - Larry Smith, Operations Manager, Shoreline Communications
