LWC Women's Golf Ranked No. 20 in Final Coaches’ Top 25 Poll

Blue Raiders finished just shy of receiving an at-large bid to the national tournament

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women’s golf team is ranked No. 20 in the final NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Thursday.

The Blue Raiders took second place at the Mid-South Conference Tournament on April 21-23 and received 185 total points in the poll.



Based on the final national rankings, Lindsey Wilson will not receive one of the at-large bids into the 27-team national tournament.

The Savannah College of Art and Design (Ga.) remains No. 1 with 16 first-place votes and 497 points. Oklahoma City is No. 2 with one first-place vote and 482 points, followed by British Columbia at No. 3 with a first-place vote and 453 points.

Cumberlands (KY) earned 451 points to rank fourth and Campbellsville (KY) sits outside the Top 25 with 60 points.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, independents and unaffiliated groups. The postseason poll will be released on May 30.
