Timmy Corbin, 48, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, April 25, 2014 at 12:59pmCT, in the Emergency Room of Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

Funeral service will be Monday, April 28, 2014 at 11amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Tom Wolford officiating. Burial will be in McClister Cemetery, 4138 Fairplay Road, Fairplay, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Sunday, April 27, 2014.



Timmy Corbin, Adair County, KY (1965-2014)


He was born August 18, 1965 in Adair County, KY. He was the son of Arnold Corbin, who survives, and the late Mary Wheeler Corbin. He died Friday, April 25, 2014, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 48 years, 8 months, and 7 days.

He was a former member and Commander of the Adair County Rescue Squad and was an avid NASCAR fan, with Tony Stewart as his favorite.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Wheeler Corbin. Survivors include:
  • His wife: Denissa Grider Corbin of Columbia, KY

  • His father: Arnold Corbin of Columbia, KY

  • His daughters: Emily Corbin and Amber (Bobby Joe) Lynn all of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Todd (Tina) Corbin of Campbellsville, KY

  • Four sisters: Tammy Loy of Columbia, KY; Becky Bennett of Russell Springs, KY; Paula (Kieven) Sneed of Columbia, KY; and Martha (Haskin) Wheeler of Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Connor and Olivia Lynn, and Aiden Meyer

  • Several other relatives and friends
