Mr. John Wilbert Bennett, Jr., age 85 of Summersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, April 18, 2014, at the Golden Living Center in Greensburg, KY. Funeral Service will be conducted at 1pmCT, Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, Monday, April 21, 2014 and after 7amCT, Tuesday until time of service at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home.



Mr. John Wilbert Bennett, Green County, KY (1928-2014)


He was born Wednesday, November 14, 1928. He died in Friday, April 18, 2014, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 85 years, 5 months, and 4 days.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Maxine Nunn Bennett, of Summersville, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter and son-in-law: Donna and Roger Scott of Summersville; Two sons and daughters-in-law; J.W. and Jackie Bennett of Greensburg; Barry and Dedra Bennett of Summersville, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Sarah Bennett and Joshua Bennett of Summersville, Amy Judd of Greensburg and Andrew Bennett of Hodgenville, KY

  • Three great-grandchildren: Ava Bennett of Summersville, Berlyn Judd and Reilly Judd of Greensburg

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible fund which can be made at the funeral home.
