Mr. Dennis William Milby, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, a native of Summersville, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Hurstbourne Care Center in Louisville.

The funeral services for Mr. Dennis William Milby will be conducted at 10:00amCT, Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery. Bro. Timmy Shirley will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 4:00pm. until 8:00pmCT, Friday, November 18, 2014, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 07:00amCT, Saturday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Dakota Milby, Dustin Milby, Danny York, Jack Nunn, Ronnie Ray, and Larry Ray.

Mr. Dennis William Milby was born in native of Summersville, Green County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late James W. Milby and Sarah Milby. He was born on Wednesday, December 9, 1942. Heparted this life on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Hurstbourne Care Center in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. He was 71 years, 4 months, and 8 days of age.

He was a former furniture assemblyman for Clark Casual in Greensburg, KY.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three sons and a daughter-in-law: Dennis W. Jr. and Michelle Milby, Steven D. Milby all of Summersville, KY; and Dennis Joseph Milby of Green County, KY

  • A sister: Susie McCubbins of Louisville, KY

  • A sister-in-law: Marie Milby of Summersville, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
