She loved to sew and adored her flower gardens. Shea loved to read her Bible and was a member of the Old Time Independent Baptist Church. She was a native of Casey County and a resident at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the Iva Dean McQueary Luttrell and the late Elvis Lee Luttrell.

Lana Bryant, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014, at her home in Casey County, KY. She was 53.

Funeral services are 10amCT/11amET, Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Ricky Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Contown Cemetery. Visitation is 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Tuesday, at the funeral home.



Lana Bryant, Casey County, KY (1960-2014)


She was born Sunday, May 8, 1960 in Casey County, KY. She was the daughter of Iva Dean McQueary Luttrell and the late Elvis Lee Luttrell. She died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at the age of 53 years, 11 months, and 5 days.

She loved to sew and adored her flower gardens. Lana loved to read her Bible and was a member of the Old Time Independent Baptist Church.

Survivors include her caregiver and best friend, Danny Clarkson of Hustonville, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: Patrick (and Sierra) Bryant of Liberty, KY; and Jonathan Bryant of Hustonville, KY

  • Stepsons: Daniel and Ted Clarkson

  • Special niece and caregiver: Cathy Sherrell of Liberty, KY

  • Special friend: Joann Clarkson

  • Three grandchildren: Georgeann Bryant and Justin and Hunter Bolin; mother, Iva Dean Luttrell of Liberty, KY

  • Five brothers: Pascal and (Connie) Luttrell, Ricky (and Cindy) Luttrell, Rodney (and Michelle) Luttrell, Victor (and Shelley) Luttrell, and Larry (and Susie) Luttrell, all of Liberty, KY

  • Four sisters: Linda (and David) Downing of Waddy, KY; Valorie (and Bruce) Holt of Dunnville, KY; Monica Luttrell of Liberty, KY; and Sue (and Junior) Rodgers, of Bradfordsville, KY
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Louie Luttrell and sister, George Ann Luttrell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Gideons.
