Barbara Ann Barton, 74, Edmonton, KY, (d. April 10, 2014)

She was the daughter of the late Henry and Amanda Sandidge Watson and the widow of Morris "Shorty" Barton. She was a homemaker and member of the Wisdom Faith Community Church.

Barbara Ann Barton age 74 of Edmonton, KY, died Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Barren County Health Care in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 2pmCT, Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Saturday, April 12, 2014 and after 9amCT, Sunday, at the funeral home.



She was the daughter of the late Henry and Amanda Sandidge Watson.

She was a homemaker and member of the Wisdom Faith Community Church.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son: Mike Smith of Knob Lick, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Marsha Houchens of Glasgow, KY; and Chad Smith of Cave City, KY

  • Two great grandchildren: Presley Houchens and Alexia Smith

  • One brother: Lane Watson of Edmonton, KY

  • Two sisters: Helen Puckett of Tennessee and Sylvia Voakes of Bowling Green, KY
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Morris "Shorty" Barton and two brothers, Rondal and Orville Watson.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
