He was the son of the late Rollin and Inez Coplin Stephens. His wife, Edna Wells Stephens, survives. He leaves three direct living descendants. He was retired as plant manager of Topps Manufacting and the Road Supervisor for Metcalfe County.

Joe Rollin Stephens age 77 of Edmonton died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Saturday, March 29, 2014, and after 9amCT, Sunday at the funeral home.



He was the son of the late Rollin and Inez Coplin Stephens. Joe was retired as plant manager of Topps Manufacting and the Road Supervisor for Metcalfe County.

He is survived by his wife Edna Wells Stephens, and the following:
  • One daughter: Alica and husband David Beasley of Edmonton, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Josh Beasley and Amber Steele of Edmonton, KY

  • One uncle: Lapip Stephens of Indiana
