Kenneth Depp Poynter, Metcalfe County, KY (d. Mar. 20, 2014) He was a member of a highly regarded North Metcalfe County family. He was the last survivor of his generation of siblings, the seven children of he late Ellie and Sarah Poynter. His wife of 59 years, Nona Chaney Poynter, survives. He leaves 2 direct living descendants. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. Funeral services will be 2pmCT, Sunday, March 23, 2014, at the Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Asbury-Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, March 22, 2014, 5pm-8pmCT at the the funeral home. He was the son of the late Ellie and Sarah Poynter. He was a farmer and member of the Antioch Baptist Church.
