She was the daughter of of the late Jacob Price and Mary Ann Edwards Price and the wodiow of Chester Cecil Judd. She leave 9 direct living descendants. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church, and was a hairdresser.

Mrs. Margaret Ellen Price Judd, 98, of Greensburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

The funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Ellen Price Judd will be conducted at 2pmCT, Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery. Bro. Dale Curry will be officiating. Visitation is requested after 9amCT, Saturday until time of the funeral service at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home.



Pallbearers: Deke DeSimone, Bill Mattingly, Jacob DeSimone, Daniel DeSimone, Wayne Edwards, and Billy Parson.

Mrs. Margaret Ellen Price Judd of Greensburg, Kentucky, was the daughter of the late Jacob Price and Mary Ann Edwards Price. She was born on January 9, 1916 in Adair County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. She was 98 years, 2 months, and 10 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church, and was a hairdresser.

She united in marriage to Chester Cecil Judd who preceded her in death on November 8, 1979.

Survivors include the following:
  • A daughter and son-in-law: Martha Della and Dr. B.O. Rand of Louisville, KY

  • Two grandchildren and their spouses: Deke and Beth DeSimone of North Carolina; and Ann and Bill Mattingly of Campbellsville, KY

  • Six great-grandchildren: Margaret Blaire Bland, Kendra Bland, Carly Bland all of Campbellsville, KY; and Billy Mattingly, Jacob DeSimone, and Daniel DeSimone all of North Carolina
  • And a host of other relatives and friends
  • Mrs. Judd was also preceded in death by a son: John Wood "Johnny" Judd; and a brother: Travis Price.

    Memorials are suggested to the Greensburg Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
