Lonnie Eugene "Gene" Jessie age 70 of Glasgow died Monday, March 17, 2014 at NHC Health Care in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 11amCT, Friday March 21, 2014, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY with burial in the Moore Springs Cemetery, near Subtle in Metcalfe County, KY. Visitation will be Thursday, March 20, 2014 4pm-8pmCT, and after 9pmCT, Friday, at the funeral home.



He is survived by the following:
  • One son: Jamie Jessie and wife Amanda of Glasgow, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Kolton Jessie, Kayla Brown and Olivia Gorman

  • One great grandchild: Raelan Vibbert

  • One brother: Dale Jessie of Muncie, Indiana

  • Four sisters: Ruby Spears of Columbus, Indiana; Juanita Bunch of Glasgow, KY; Opal Morris of Muncie, Indiana; and Shirley Watson of Glasgow, KY
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Joyce, brother Reid and mother in law Verta Janes.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
