Christine Pendleton, Georgetown, Texas, a native of Casey County, KY, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 at The Wesleyan at Scenic. She was 88.

Funeral services are 10amCT/11amET, Thursday, March 20, 2014 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Paul Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 9amCT/10amET until funeral service.



Christine Pendleton, Casey County, KY (1925-2014)

Born Sunday, June 28, 1925 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Clint and Lena Lewallen Propes. She died Friday, March 14, 2014, in Texas, at the age of 88 years, 8 months, and 16 days.

She was a homemaker, Fruit of the Loom sewing factory worker, and member of the Salem United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Christine is preceded in death by her husband, Merical Pendleton and brother, Charles Propes.

Survivors include:
  • Two daughters: Vivian (and Ralph) Emerson of Georgetown, Texas; and Diane Hill of Attica, Indiana

  • Five grandchildren

  • Ten great-grandchildren

  • Two great-great-grandchildren

  • And two brothers: Robert Propes of Loveland, Ohio and Howard Propes of Lockland, Ohio

Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, Ky, in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Salem United Methodist Church in memory of Ms. Christine Pendleton.
