Dorothy Churchill Svorc age 97 years of Columbia, KY formerly of Willow Springs, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 6:40amCT at her home after a long illness.

Funeral service: Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 1pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home,210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Clergy officiating will be Bro. Dennis Price. Visiting will begin after 9amCT, on Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service.

She was born Monday, February 26, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of the late Paul Fredrick and Eliza Edith Anna Zespel Glinzig. She died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, in Columbia, Adair County, KY at the age of 97 years, 13 days.

She was preceded in death by husbands: William Edwin Churchill in 1974 and by Otto Svorc in 1990.

Mrs. Svorc is survived by the following:
  • One daughter and son in law: Billie A. Hadley and husband Clinis of Columbia, KY

  • Three grandsons: Willie Hadley, Chris Hadley and C.J. Hadley

  • Two great grandchildren: Kaden Hadley and Kylie Bailey
Mrs. Svorc was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Willow Springs, Illinois and was a retired factory worker Send a condolence to the family of Dorothy Churchill Svorc
