Vernon Grider, Jr. Casey County, KY (1951-2014) He was born in Casey County, Ky and was a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of Faye Lawson, who survives and the late Vernon Grider, Sr. He leaves 6 direct living descendants. He was a retired maintenance worker for Firestone Wire and Cable Company and loved talking on his CB radio, where he was known as "Widetrack". He was of the Baptist faith and completed Vocational School in Somerset, KY Vernon Grider, Jr., of Old Dry Ridge Hill Road, passed away Wednesday February 5, 2014 at his home in Casey County, KY. He was 62. Funeral services are 1pmCT/2pmET Sunday, February 9, 2014 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Don Clark and Bro. Brandon Wilson officiating. Burial is in Oak Grove Contown Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 5pm-8pmCT/ 6pm-9pmET, at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Ethan Whited, William Roberts, Troy Hafley, Jessie Hayes, Rob Wilson and Sam Wood.
