Talana Jessie, Metcalfe Co., KY (d. Jan. 17, 2014) She was a member of a large, highly regarded family with deep roots in Adair, Metcalfe and Green Counties of South Central Kentucky. She was the daughter of Glen Dale and Ramona Akin of Fairplay, Adair County, KY. She leaves 7 direct living descendants. She is well known for her musical talents. She was a gifted singer who performed often at Columbia's Dream Depot, where audiences favored the spirtual songs she wrote herself, including "Bought with a Price." Randy Parnell, the officiating clergy and special music by Shaun Samuel. Burial in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery, 57 Chestnut Grove Road, Breeding, KY.
