Mary Maus, 86, of Jamestown, died Thursday, January 9, 2014 at her home.

Prayer service for Mary Mauswill be 6pmCT, Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 406 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with final interment in the St. Cecilia Cemetery in Independence, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Thursday, January 16, 2014, at the church.

She was born Friday, June 3, 1927 in Independence, Kenton County, KY. She was the daughter of the late William & Helen Blau Schoborg. She died Thursday, January 9, 2014, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 86 years, 7 months, and 6 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Jamestown, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Maus, Jr., and a son, Anthony Maus; and 6 siblings.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three children: Rose (Terry) Huckaby, Jamestown, KY; Donna Maus Kellow (Grier Lackey) Hiddenite, NC; and Charles (Gina) Maus, cinn., Ohio
  • Nine grandchildren

  • Two great grandchildren

  • Five sisters
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, St Cecilia Catholic Church or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
