Mildred Carnes Wilson, 95, S. Hwy 127, Jamestown, KY, died Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Norton Hospital, Louisville, KY.

The memorial service for Mildred Carnes Wilson will be at 2pmCT, Saturday, January 11, 2014, at the Jamestown Christian Church, 65 S Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Tony Stephens and bro. Tim Ratliff offociating. Burial will be in Jamestown Cemetery, N Main Street, Jamestown, KY. The family will receive friends and a reception will be held at 3pmCT following the service, at the Jamestown Christian Church Life Center.

She was born May 12, 1918, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Carnes & the late Nora (Carnes) Carnes. She died Thursday, January 9, 2014, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY at the age of 95 years, 7 months, and 28 days.

She was a retired school teacher.

She is survived by a daughter, M. Gail Wilson, Jamestown, KY.

The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
