Mrs. Shirley Lou Judd, 73, of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow, KY. .

The funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Lou Judd will be conducted at 10amCT., Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Bro. Timmy Glass will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT, Friday. January 3, 2014, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Saturday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Eric Judd, Kyle Holmes, Dave Ford, Robert Graham, Luke Meadows, David Milby, Don Judd, and Adam Rainwater.

Mrs. Shirley Lou Judd of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Henry Meadows and Essie Wilson Meadows, was born on January 27, 1940 in Adair County, KY, and departed this life on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow, Barren County, KY. She was 73 years, 11 months, and 3 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to Amos Arlin Judd on June 8, 1957 who preceded her in death on January 9, 2013.

Survivors include:
  • Three sons and two daughters-in-law: Mickey Judd, David A. and Linda Judd, Shane L. and Felicia Judd all of Greensburg, KY

  • A daughter and son-in-law: Anita and Banner Shoe of Greensburg, KY

  • A brother: Ed Meadows of Greensburg, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Fourteen great-grandchildren

  • One great-great-grandchild

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
