He leaves 12 direct living descendants. He was the former owner of Wesley Drug Company in Liberty, KY, and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II

Paul Wesley, age 96, of Liberty, KY passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.

Visitation will be held after 11amCT/12pm noon ET, Thursday January 2, 2014 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY. Funeral Services will be held at 2pmCT/3pmET, Thursday January 2, 2014 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Phillip Patton officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.



Paul Wesley, Casey County, KY (1917-2013)


He was born in Liberty, Casey County, KY on Wednesday, April 18, 1917. He was the son of the late Eli G. and Flora McAninch Wesley. He died Monday, December 30, 2013, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 96 years, 8 months, and 12 days.

He was the former owner of Wesley Drug Company and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.

He is the widower of Ruth Sweeney Wesley.

Survivors include:
  • Two Daughters: Paula Wesley of Lexington, KY, and Kathy and (Jerry) Zachary of Liberty, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • Five great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by five sisters: LIbby Wesley, Georgia Humphrey, Emma Morgan, Osa Coop and Lula Stamp and four brothers: Carl, Rathmel, Cranston and Malcolm Wesley.
