Lewis (Louie) Luttrell, Casey Co., KY (1955-2013)

He was a naive of Casey County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of Iva Dean Mcqueary Luttrell and the late Elvis Lee Luttrell. His wife, Kim Lewis Luttrell survives. He leaves 15 direct living descendants. He was a former gate hauler and attended the Goose Creek Baptist Church

Lewis "Louie" Luttrell passed away Sunday December 29, 2013 at his home in Liberty, KY. He was 58.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT/11amET, Friday January 3, 2014 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Ricky Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Contown Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.



Pallbearers are Bruce Holt, Danny Clarkson, J.R. Pemberton, Roger Harris, David Downey, P.J. Sherrell, Tyler Luttrell and Victor Luttrell.

Born April 4, 1955 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of Iva Dean McQueary Luttrell of Liberty and the late Elvis Lee Luttrell. He died Sunday, December 29, 2013, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 58 years, 8 months, and 25 days.

He was a former gate hauler and attended the Goose Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Lewis Luttrell of Liberty, KY, and the following:
  • Five sons: Jeffrey "Bart", Jeremy and Kelly Luttrell of Liberty, KY; Roger Harris of Somerset, KY; and Michael Luttrell of Corbin, KY

  • A daughter: Ivy Kidd of Liberty, KY

  • Five brothers: Pascal (and Connie) Luttrell, Ricky (and Cindy) Luttrell, Rodney (and Michelle) Luttrell, Victor (and Shelley) Luttrell, and Larry (and Susie) Luttrell all of Liberty, KY

  • Five sisters: Linda (and David) Downey of Waddy, KY; Valorie (and Bruce) Holt of Dunnville, KY; Monica Luttrell of Liberty, KY; Lana (and Danny) Bryant of Hustonville, KY and Sue Rodgers of Bradfordsville , KY

  • Nine grandchildren: Tyler , Chasity, Logan, Austin, Bailey and Kaylin Luttrell and Hunter, Macy and Jacy Lynn Kidd

  • And a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by brother, Kenneth Luttrell and sister, George Ann Luttrell.
