Magdalene "Maggie" Rexroat, 81, of Russell Springs, KY, died Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY.

Funeral service for Magdalene "Maggie" Rexroat will be 10amCT, Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Joe Sullivan officiating. Friends may call after 5pmCT, Friday, December 27, 2013, Burial will be in the New Friendship Cemetery.



Active Pallbearers: Chance Mann, Christopher Rexroat, Austin Sullivan, Jamie Luttrell, Ronnie Rexroat, and Teddy Mann.

Honorary Pallbearer: Jason Rexroat.

Magdalene "Maggie" Rexroat, Russell County, KY (1932-2013)

She was born December 25, 1932 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Oliver Ray & Eliza Jane McBeath Harris. She died Wednesday, December 25, 2012, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 81 years.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Eden United Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Rexroat.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three children: Brenda (Jimmy) Luttrell, and Eleanor (Gary) Sullivan, both of Russell Springs, KY, and Ricky (Joyce) Rexroat, Shelbyville, IN

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Thirteen great grandchildren

  • Three sisters: Allie Emerson, Russell Springs, KY; Phyllis Curtis, Indianapolis, IN; Olivia Luttrell, Windsor, KY
