Mrs. Mary Ann Simpson, 58, Greensburg, KY, departed this life Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the University of Louisville Hospital, Louisville, KY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Simpson will be conducted 1pmCT, Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 906 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY/ Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Separate Baptist Church Cemetery in LaRue County. The family has requested visitation 5pm-9pmCT, Monday, December 23, 2013, and after 7amCT, Tuesday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.

Mrs. Mary Ann Simpson was Thursday, born May 19, 1955 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Irene Johnson Hall. She departed this life Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the University of Louisville Hospital, Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, having attained the age of 58 years, 7 months and 3 days.

Mrs. Simpson had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Living Word Faith Church.

She is survived by the following:
    Two sons: Ronnie and his wife Crystal DeSpain of Bardstown, KY; and James Benningfield and Allison Spaw of Willisburg, KY
  • Three daughters: Dianne Benningfield and Sharon Simpson of Greensburg, KY; and Faye and Chris Ambach of LaGrange, KY

  • Five sisters: Ambial of Russell County, KY; Lettie Herman of Greensburg, KY; Opal Appleby of Jamestown, KY; Betty McQuery and Wanda Sharp of Liberty, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren: Keaton and Katelyn DeSpain, Jenna Aikman, Hunter, Lucas, and Dixie Rose Taylor, Destiny, Dillian and Dalton Spaw, Logan and Wesley Lane Ambach

  • One great grandchild: Aaron Phillips

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
