He leaves 2 direct and 8 step living descendants. Mr. Price had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Jesus Name Church in Campbellsville. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a farmer.

Mr. Joe Mack Price departed this life Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral will be at 12pm noon CT/1pmET, Monday, December 23, 2013, at The Jesus Name Church, 80 Tabernacle Road, Campbellsville, KY Campbellsville, KY. Visitation wil be 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY with Elder Rueal Boils and Elder Ronnie Gowens the officiating clergy. Interment will be in The Jesus Name Cemetery, Campbellsville, KY with full military honors by the Marion County Honor Guard.



Pallbearers: Robert Price, Neal Price, Clay Price, Michael Price, Jerry Price, Russell Price, Dwayne Price, Jr. Price, and Roger Vincent.

Mr. Joe Mack Price was born Thursday, December 31, 1931 in Green County, KY. He was the son of the late Lee and Annie Skaggs Price. He departed this life Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, having attained the age of 83, 11 months and 18 days.

Mr. Price had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Jesus Name Church in Campbellsville. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a farmer. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death May 14, 2011 by his son: Thomas "Bean" Price. He is also preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters: Paul, Shelby, Alfred and William Price, Virginia Vincent, Thelma Henderson, Lillie Toadvine, Mazie Chitwood and Mildred Kinder

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jones Price, and the following:
  • One daughter and son-in-law: Patricia and Mark Quire of Louisville, KY

  • His daughter-in-law: Tressa Price of Greensburg, KY

  • One brother: Milton Price of Shepherdsville, KY

  • One granddaughter: Amanda Quire

  • Three step grandchildren: Reba Rentz, Sean Fisk, Jasmine Seger

  • And five step great grandchildren: MacKenzie Jones, Shelby and Braydon Seger, Haley Wilson and Jocelynn Fisk.
