Mrs. Debra Gail Holmes, Taylor Co., KY (1952-2013)

She was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Mildred Jean Smith Holmes. She leaves 8 direct living descendants. She was of the Baptist faith, and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Campbellsville. Her kind and loving spirit will forever shine through the lives of her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Debra Gail (Holmes) Brockman, age 61, of Campbellsville, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY.

A memorial service for Mrs. Debra Brockman will be held at 1pmCT/2pmET, on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Calvary Baptist Church, 200 Coakley Street, Campbellsville, KY, with Pastor Steve Wagers officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church after 12pm noon CT/1pmET, until time for service.

She was born October 22, 1952. She was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Mildred Jean (Smith) Holmes. She died Thursday, December 19, 2013, Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY, at the age of 61 years, 1 month, and 28 days.

She was of the Baptist faith, and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Campbellsville. Her kind and loving spirit will forever shine through the lives of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by:
  • One daughter: Jessica Skaggs of Campbellsville, KY

  • One son: Jeremy Holmes and companion Amanda Milby, of Campbellsville, KY

  • Five siblings: Marlene Holmes of Shepherdsville, KY; Doug Holmes and wife Brenda, of Greensburg, KY; Kevin Holmes, Mark Holmes, and Pam Huber and husband Danny, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Six grandchildren

  • And a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials take the form of donations to the funeral expenses, and can be made here, at the church, or at the funeral home.
