Jeff Garnett Story, 80, of Jamestown, KY, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E Steve Wariner, Russell Springs, KY 42642, at 1pmCT, on Monday, December 23, 2013, with Bro. Lindsey Cornett and Bro. Jerry Smith officiating. Visitation will be after 10amCT, on Monday at the funeral home. Interment at Bethel Cemetery Jamestown, KY.



Jeff Garnett Story, 80, Russell Co., KY (1933-2013)


He was born in Rowena, Kentucky on November 28, 1933. He was a son of the late Elsie (Grider) and Ruby Pearl Story. He died Thursday, December 19, 2013, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, the age of 80 years, 21 days.

He was a member of Bernard Ridge Church of God, he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Fruit of the Loom.

He is survived by the following:
  • His wife: Debbie (Coomer) Story of Jamestown, KY

  • Four sons: William J. , husband of Linda Story, of Rosefield, California; Gregory I., husband of Pam Story, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; Allen, husband of Rachel Story, of Russell Springs, Kentucky; Matthew Story, of Jamestown, Kentucky

  • Four grandchildren

  • And a brother: R. C., husband of Joann Story, of Somerset, Kentucky
