Alice Stiles, Taylor Co., KY (1927-2013)

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Green River Memorial Baptist Church. She was a native of Marion County, KY and a resident of Taylor County at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Ed Helton and Sadie Roarx Helton, and the widow of William Stiles. She leaves 30 direct living descendants

Alice Stiles, 86, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 11:06pmET, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in Campbellsville.

The funeral service will be at 12:30pmCT/1:30pmET, Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Jamie Bennett. Burial will be in the Rolling Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Jason Atkins, Eric Jones, Donnie Riley, Junior Riley, George Scott, and Brett Underwood.

Honorary pallbearers: Annie Atkins, Gannon Atkins, Quinton Bishop, Camden Stiles, Hunter Underwood, and Kacie Underwood.

Alice Stiles of Campbellsville, KY was the daughter of the late Ed Helton and Sadie Roarx Helton. She was born Friday, February 16, 1927, in Marion County, Kentucky. She died, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 86 years, 9 months, and 9 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Green River Memorial Baptist Church. She united in marriage with William Stiles on November 18, 1946. He preceded her in death June 15, 1981.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three daughters: Patricia Jones and husband Jim, Mary Ann Underwood and Deborah Stiles all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Thirteen grandchildren: Wendy Srenwiaski, Connie Roution, Greg Jones, Brett Underwood, Deanna Dick, Mandy Underwood Atkins, Sonja Stiles, Annemarie Ponce, Jamaal Stiles, Eric Jones, Kimberly Breeding, B.J. Breeding and Ashley Stiles

  • Fourteen great-grandchildren

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by three sons and one daughter: Norman Stiles, James Stiles, Joe Stiles, and Brenda Breeding. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

The family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to Hospice and may be may at the funeral home.
