She leaves 3 direct living descendants. She was a member of the Columbia Christian Church and attended the Elizabethtown First Christian Church and a homemaker. She had been a resident of Elizabethtown, KY since 1985.

Mildred Moore 91 years of Elizabethtown, KY formerly of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at her home in Elizabethtown, KY after several weeks illness.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 15, 2013 at 10amCT/11amET at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Bro. Doug Mitchell & Bro. Raymond Martin will be the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT Thursday, November 14, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

She was born February 4, 1922 in Columbia, KY the daughter of the late Luther and Emma Hood Smith of Adair County, KY. She died Tuesday, November 12, 2013, in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY, at the age of 91 years, 9 months, and 8 days.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband Claudus Gilbert Moore on August 7, 1999 and by one brother, Garlin Smith.

She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Pat Armstrong and husband Lonnie of Elizabethtown, KY

  • One sister: Alice Osborne of Elizabethtown, KY

  • One granddaughter: Kim Scarborough of Rineyville, KY

  • One great grandchild: Reaghan Scarborough

  • One niece and nephew: Wilma Curry of Elizabethtown, KY and Dr. Roger Dale Smith of Columbia, KY
