Henry Wayne "Mr. Bounce" Epperson, 60, of Columbia, kluy died Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 11:45amET, at Woodland Terrace in Elizabethtown, KY.

Funeral service, Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013 at 1pmCT, at First Baptist Church, 847 Burkesville ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Henry L. Mosley delivering the eulogy. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4125 Johnson School Road, Columbia, KY, Columbia, KY. Visitation at First Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, from 5pm-7pmCT and on Thursday after 11amCT.



Casket Bearers: Jerry Smith, David Goode, Moe Miller, Edwin L. Jones, Johnny Jones, Billy Gene Mitchell, Charlie Childers, Greg Marshall, Randy Blackwell, James T. Smith, Kenyatta Duncan, and Lee Allen Bridgewater.

Henry Wayne (Mr. Bounce) Epperson (1952-2013)

He was born December 4, 1952, in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Joe Stanley Epperson, Sr., and Dorothy Garnett Epperson. He died Saturday, October 26, 2013, in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY, at the age of 60 years, 10 months, and 22 days.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Rodney Epperson.

He was a member of First Baptist Church and an expert gardener. Survivors include:
  • One son: Daunque Lamar Epperson of Louisville, KY

  • His former wife: Brenda Bridgewater Epperson of Louisville, KY

  • Two sisters: Elaine Epperson and Susan Epperson, both of Elizabethtown, KY

  • Two brothers: Joe S. Epperson, Jr., and James M. Epperson both of Columbia, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Sydnei, Liniya, Thayden Epperson, Dayonna Bell, Drianna and Drianah Townsend

  • One aunt: Linda Clayborn of Cincinnati

  • One niece: Jeanine M. Barnett

  • Two great-nephews: Aaron & Ceondre Barnett
Many cousins and a host of friends who were as close as family.
