Mr. Mearl A. Turner, 60 of Louisville, KY, departed this life on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the University of Louisville Hospital., Louisville, KY.

The funeral services for Mr. Mearl A. Turner will be conducted at 1pmCT, Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Bro. Leslie Jewell will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Saturday, October 26, 2013, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT/8amET Sunday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Leslie Bryant, Kenneth Bryant, Gilbert Wright, Junior Bryant, Doug Bryant, and Dewayne Bryant.

Mr. Mearl A. Turner of Louisville, KY, was the son of the late Thomas M. Turner and Frances Evelyn Bryant Turner. He was born on January 4, 1953 in Green County, KY, and departed this life on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. He was 60 years, 9 months, and 19 days of age.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three brothers and sisters-in-law: Bobby Joe and Kathy Turner, Dale "Lightning" and Bonnie Turner, Carlos and Consuela Turner all of Greensburg, KY

  • A half-brother: Robert Turner of Brownsville, KY

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
