Donald Richard Thomerson 71 of Columbia, KY and formerly of Glasgow died Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be 11amCT, Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, 201 East Washington Street, Glasgow, KY, Glasgow, KY with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 2pmCT, Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at the funeral home in Glasgow, KY.



Born in Barren County he was the son of the late Dick & Mary Jackson Thomerson.

Mr. Thomerson was an active member of the Boyd's Creek United Methodist Church, the Adair County Knife Club and was a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Davidson Thomerson of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • A son: David Thomerson & wife Angela of Glasgow, KY
  • Three grandchildren: Jamie Gill, Katie Thomerson, (Josh Cross) and Andrew Thomerson
  • Two great grandchildren: Lucas and Noah Cross of Glasgow, KY

  • A sister: Margaret Martin of Louisville, KY

  • A sister-in-law: Donna Thomerson

  • And several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Douglas Thomerson.
